Personal Data that We Process

LHP Skillnet processes the following personal data

Booking Form
  • Name, email address, telephone number, company name, company address, billing email address, attendee name and email address
  • Purpose: To book a place on a LHP Skillnet course

  • Legal Basis: Legitimate interests – The data requested are required to book a place on a training course and may need to be shared with Skillnet Ireland and/or QQI depending on the course.

  • Retention: No data is retained on the website. The TicketTailor booking form stores the data for 2 years.

Expression of Interest Forms for Public Courses and ESF+ Funding
  • Name, email address, telephone number, company name, any comments submitted

  • Purpose: To be notified when new dates for a course become available.

  • Legal Basis: Legitimate interests – The person is interested in signing up for a course, so we need to be able to contact them.

  • Retention: No data is retained on the website. Zoho Forms retains the data for 12 months.

Certificate in Healthcare Support / Skills Connect Questionnaire
  • Name, Phone number, email address, country of residence, employment status, social welfare benefits, current employment status

  • Purpose: To express an interest in participating in a Certificate in Healthcare Support /Skills Connect training programme.

  • Legal Basis: Legitimate interests – The person is interested in applying for a training programme with specific entry requirements, so we need to be able to contact them.

  • Retention: No data is retained on the website. Jotform retains the data for 12 months.

Learner hub - Confirmation of studies letter
  • Name, Date of birth, email address and Phone number

  • Purpose: To receive a letter confirming what modules a former learner successfully passed.

  • Legal Basis: Legitimate interests – The person is a former learner who is looking for confirmation of the training that they have carried out with the Skillnet.

  • Retention: No data is retained on the website. Jotform retains the data for 12 months.

Learner hub - Expression of Interest in further training modules
  • Learner name, Learner address, email address, Learner role, Employer’s name, Employers address.

  • Purpose: To express an interest in doing further LHP Skillnet modules towards a QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support Certificate.

  • Legal Basis: Legitimate interests – The data requested are required to express an interest in doing the other QQI modules.

  • Retention: No data is retained on the website. Jotform retains the data for 12 months.

Legal Action
  • Where necessary we will process personal data provided to us for the purposes of seeking legal advice or other legal purposes. Examples of such processing would include providing information to debt collection agencies in the event of persistent non-payment for products or services by an individual or Sole Trader.
  • Also, where we receive a formal request under Article 23 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we may be required to disclose personal data to An Garda Síochána, the Revenue Commissioners, or other relevant organisation.
System Logs, Maintenance, and Investigation of Data Security Breaches
  • We process certain data, including IP addresses, as part of our internal system logging on this website to support the diagnosis of issues and maintenance of the website.
  • In addition, we will make use of detailed system logs on our webhosting platform and within our Content Management System to support investigations of Data Security breaches.
