AIM

The aim of the course is to provide participants with the background to effective policy and procedure development, approval and review and to provide guidance on the expected content of comprehensive policies and procedures.


OBJECTIVES

Participants shall be provided with the required content to:

1.   Understand why policies and procedures are required by a service

2.   Understand the process for effective policy and procedure development, approval and review.

3.   Understand the required content of comprehensive policies and procedures

4.   Understand appropriate policy and procedure layouts and formats

5.   Understand Document Control requirements

6.   Understand actual policy and procedure development via workshop

7.   Understand required content in a comprehensive Policy and Procedure for the Development, review and approval of P&P’s

No exams will be completed against the course content.
