COVID-19 Emergency Management Education Programme for Nursing Homes (March 26th and 27th)

Course Description

Nursing homes should now take steps to assess and improve their preparedness for responding to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). This programme guides the practical development of a comprehensive COVID-19 response plan in line with best practice, from the preparation phase to the management of confirmed cases. The programme shall be delivered via online webinar over two 90-minute sessions. These sessions shall be complemented by an optional Comprehensive Resource Pack. The Comprehensive Resource Pack will provide the nursing home with a suite of policy descriptors, documents and templates, covering in detail the areas of governance, risk, infection protocol and business continuity planning (to mention but a few examples). This suite will be regularly checked and updated, so that the materials your nursing home needs to face this crisis always stay current.

Course Aim

This unique emergency programme will detail what nursing homes need to know before and in the event of an outbreak of Covid-19 on their premises. The programme will provide you with the tools to manage the impact of Covid-19 and minimise the risks to your staff, clients and business.
