Course Description
Aim
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, HIQA have placed new demands for services to have effective deputization arrangements in place, which will authorize key members of staff to step into new roles if and when required. The HCI’s Advanced Care Management Programme aims to provide a comprehensive body of knowledge for key individuals within nursing homes, highlighting the regulatory requirements, best practice and emerging guidance, and providing participants with the skills to apply the tools and techniques to support their implementation.

Members can attend all 16 workshops for only €1,400. In addition to benefiting from our most generous discount, you will also receive a certificate issued by LHP Skillnet in collaboration with the HCI. Non-members may book the programme for €2,200.

Workshop Delivery
Training will run from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Each training module will be delivered by a senior member of HCI’s Quality and Safety Team.

Who Should Attend
The programme will address all aspects of service and care provision within nursing homes, from developing a robust governance model to the hands-on provision of person-centred, individual care to residents. Depending on the area of focus, content may be applicable to a range of job roles, from Persons in Charge, Deputy PIC, CNM, Staff Nurse, HCA, H&S Representative, and Audit Leads.
